Melissa Cross

Hello! My name is Melissa Cross, and I am pleased to serve as the Accounting Clerk for Scw’exmx Tribal Council. I started with Scw’exmx Tribal Council as a relief receptionist, later transitioning to my current role as the Accounting Clerk.

In my position, I handle various accounting tasks such as filing, data entry for Accounts Payables and Payroll, and managing banking activities. I'm always ready to lend a hand to my manager whenever needed. I'm enthusiastic about learning and growing professionally, using each day as an opportunity to expand my skills, learn, and grow professionally.

Since making Merritt my home, I've been captivated by its beauty and the warmth of its people. The community has become my home, and I have formed lasting friendships. Working here has deepened my connection to the community and allowed me to meet incredible individuals. I'm grateful for the chance to contribute to Scw’exmx Tribal Council and be part of this vibrant community.
